The daily reality Telios is built for

Many institutions still run banking on one system, accounting on another, and approvals on paper. Every hand-over is a chance for error, delay or fraud.

  • Books that disagree with operations

Accountants re-key transactions and reconcile by hand at month end, and differences surface late.

  • Controls that depend on people

Approvals, limits and segregation of duties are hard to prove when they live in emails and signatures.

  • Customers spread across branches

Without one customer record, KYC, risk and history are incomplete where decisions are made.

  • Reporting that takes days

Management and supervisory figures are assembled from spreadsheets instead of read from the ledger.

One platform, one record of every operation

In Telios, a deposit, a loan repayment or a teller movement is a banking operation and an accounting entry at the same time. The same platform holds the customer, the product rules, the approvals and the audit trail.

  • Customers, accounts, loans and tellers share one customer record and one business calendar.
  • Every transaction posts to the general ledger as it happens, under rules the institution configures.
  • Maker-checker approvals, role-based access and a complete audit trail are part of the core, not add-ons.
  • Institutions activate only the modules they need, and add more as they grow.

Core banking, end to end

The core covers the operations every institution runs every day. Add-ons extend it when the business needs them.

  • Customers and KYC

One customer record across branches, with the documents and checks your compliance officer needs.

  • Savings and deposits

Launch savings, current and term deposit products by configuration, with interest and fees computed the same way every day.

  • Loan management

Take a loan from application to closure with the same rules, approvals and accounting every time.

  • Integrated financial accounting

Your general ledger is always up to date, because it is fed by the operations themselves.

  • Teller and branch operations

Cash is controlled from the vault to the counter, and every till balances with the ledger.

  • Payments

Move money between accounts and to other rails with the right controls and a clear outcome for every payment.

  • Security and access management

Access follows responsibilities, and every sensitive action can be traced to two people.

  • Reporting and management information

Managers see what matters to them when they sign in, and reports come from the ledger, not from spreadsheets.

See every module

Accounting that is part of banking, not after it

Telios includes its own general ledger. Banking modules do not export files to an accounting package: each operation generates its journal entry through a central posting engine, so the books follow the business in real time.

  • Chart of accounts templates, including the COBAC plan for microfinance institutions (PCEMF).
  • Automatic entries from deposits, loans, tellers, payments and fees, with configurable posting rules.
  • Manual journals and period adjustments under permissions and approval.
  • Trial balance, income statement and balance sheet from the ledger.
  • Daily proofs that each subledger agrees with its control accounts.

Two ways to run Telios

The same software, deployed the way that suits your institution.

Telios Perpetual License

A long-term licence to run Telios on infrastructure your institution controls, on-premises or in a cloud of your choice.

Compare the models

Built to fit your institution

  • Growing institutions

Add branches, tellers, channels and approval levels as volumes and teams grow.

  • Large MFIs and credit unions

Multi-branch operations, regulatory returns, AML monitoring and HR and payroll in one platform.

  • Commercial banks

Treasury, FX, trade finance and card add-ons on the same ledger, deployed under your governance.

Security and governance by design

Controls are built into every workflow, so they are applied the same way every time and can be proven afterwards.

  • Role-based access

Permissions by role, scoped to the institution or a branch, from templates your security officer adapts.

  • Maker-checker

Sensitive operations wait for a second person; the maker cannot approve their own action.

  • Audit trail

Who did what, when, with the values before and after, for every change and approval.

  • Protected data

Sign-in with an authenticator app, encrypted personal data and isolation between institutions.

Frequently asked questions

What is Telios?

Telios is a core banking platform: it runs customer management, deposits, lending, teller operations, payments and the institution's general ledger in one system, with approvals and audit built in.

Who is Telios for?

Microfinance institutions, credit unions and cooperatives, and commercial banks. Institutions choose the modules they need; the core is the same for all.

Do we still need a separate accounting system?

For the operations Telios handles, entries are generated in Telios' own ledger, which produces the trial balance, income statement and balance sheet. Some institutions keep other tools for areas outside Telios, such as fixed-asset registers or group consolidation; we review this with you.

Does Telios support Cameroon and the CEMAC region?

Telios works in French and English, in XAF, with the COBAC chart of accounts for microfinance institutions and a first pack of COBAC returns. Cameroon payroll rules (CNPS, IRPP) are included as a configurable pack. Country rules are validated with each institution before use.

What is the difference between SaaS and a perpetual licence?

With SaaS you subscribe and Telios is hosted and operated for you. With a perpetual licence you acquire long-term usage rights and run Telios on infrastructure you control. The software is the same; the commercial and operational arrangements differ.

Can we try it before deciding?

Yes. Request access to the demonstration institution, or ask for a guided demonstration with our team.

Can we migrate from our current system?

Telios includes a data migration module that loads customers, accounts and loans from standard files, validates them and reconciles the result with the ledger. Each migration is planned with the institution.
